For the last few years I have only ever used The Body Shop Tea Tree Pore Minismiser, and even though I still love this primer I thought I would give something new a try when I was last browsing through their shop, so I picked up the InstaBlur primer which I had heard a lot of good reviews on!

The Body Shop - Vitamin E face mist.
It has been really hot here recently so when I went into The Body shop I was looking for a product which will help refresh and cool my face, and this is what I picked up. This Vitamin E face mist is a relatively new product to The body Shop and I couldn't wait to try it out.
This face mist comes in an easy to use spray bottle with a lid so it is perfect for carrying around with you. It has a milky like colour to it, but it absorbs quickly and the colour doesn't show. When applying I use two sprays on my face holding it around 20cm away from my face, and this may seem obvious but don't get it in your eye as it will sting!
You can use this to help set your makeup and I think it gives a dewy finish to your face, but I'm not really sure if it helps to make the makeup last any longer. This product has a rose scent to it which I don't really like, but it doesn't last for long so I can deal with it.
This face mist helps to add moisture to my face and does have a slight cooling effect, though I personally would keep this in the fridge to help with the cooling effect in the summer. Also it doesn't make my face oily after using.
This face mist costs £8.50 from The Body shop so it is a bit on the pricey side and I'm not too sure if I would repurchase mainly as I don't like the rose scent and I would rather have a product that is more cooling, but I'm going to keep an open mind for a while.

The Body Shop - Pink Grapefruit Body Sorbet.
This weekend my local The Body Shop store in Romford had been renewed with a complete makeover and had a grand opening to celebrate, so I thought it would be the perfect time to go treat myself to some new products.
The shop itself looked lovely and was neat and well organised which is great as there is nothing better than a shop where you can easily find what you are looking for, as I'm impatient when shopping and hate having to search around. The staff as always were really friendly as always, and the aircon (Which I know isn't really relevant) was a dream in the hot weather! Unfortunately I couldn't get any pictures though as the store was packed at the time.
I purchased the new Body Sorbet and Vitamin E face mist and today I am going to review the Body Sorbet.
I was really intrigued with this product when I first heard about it as I have never used a 'sorbet' moisturiser before and wanted to know what the texture would be like and if it was easily absorbed. Also since we are getting a nice bit of heat in London at the moment I wanted a product that would be cooling.
So the texture of this 'sorbet' has a velvety gel like consistency which I have never come across before in a moisturiser. When applying it absorbs pretty mush straight away into my skin and left it feeling very refreshed, it did have some cooling properties to it however to get the most of of this I would store it in the fridge. I apply this product in the morning and found that my skin was still really soft by the time I went to bed which is great.
I purchased the pink grapefruit scent but they have 5 different scents you can choose from. I choose this scent as it reminds me of eating pink grapefruit with my parents for breakfast in bed on special occasions when I was little and it makes me feel very nostalgic. It has quite a strong smell, which I find really uplifting and it helps to wake me up in the morning . The scent lasts for about half an hour.
This moisturiser comes in a big squeezy bottle which I like as due to its thick consistency it is easy to squeeze the right amount of product out and you don't get any leaking through like you can with some cream moisturisers. Also it means I don't get any product stuck behind my finger nails when I'm trying to get some out a tub.
The Body Sorbets cost £8 from The Body Shop and you can buy them here:

The Body Shop - Liquid Eyeliner.
Eyeliner is one of the beauty products that I could not live without and I feel naked if I'm not wearing it, and due to this fact I have gone through a lot of them! So today I am going to review one of my favourite liquid eyeliners from The Body Shop.
The Body Shop Liquid Eyeliner comes in a small black bottle with a long silver lid, which acts as a handle to the fine felt tip like applicator. I find this liquid eyeliner really easy to apply due to its tip and long handle, and I love it for drawing fine lines.
When applying I like to remove excess liquid from the tip by wiping it on the inside of the bottle which allows me to draw a nicer line on the eye without smudging it. Once applied it takes about 30 seconds to dry and you are left with a good strong matte black colour.
I find that this eyeliner is long lasting and can last me for about 5/6 hours without smudging or having any transfer on my upper eyelid, even in the 32 degree heat we had in London today! However it isn't waterproof so if you have sensitive watery eyes I'm not sure if this is the product for you, but it does make taking the eyeliner off very easy at night.
I managed to pick this up as a free gift when the body shop had a special promotion going on, but otherwise this Eyeliner costs £9 and comes in Black, Brown and Taupe.

Beauty haul.
It's result day tomorrow and I always get really stressed out about it, and when I'm stressed I have a tendency to go shopping (I am a stress spender). I should really get someone to hold me back during times like these, but it did result in me getting a load of new beauty products which I can't wait to try out and review!

The Body Shop - Camomile Sumptuous Cleansing Butter
Cleansing in the morning and evening is one of the most important things you can do for your skin so I thought I'd review one of my favorite cleansers from The Body Shop.
Since the age of 12 I have suffered from acne and it is horrible, so it is very hard for me to find a nice cleansing product which doesn't cause my skin to breakout, but this is perfect!
It has a wonderful subtle smell and a lovely soft texture.
I use it every other day as I do have another acne specific cleanser, but this is perfect for making my skin feel really soft and refreshed after using.
When using this product I apply it to a dry face and then give myself a mini face massage which I learnt from reading the Birchbox online magazine:
I then use a warm muslin cloth to wipe it off.
I would defiantly recommend this product to anyone, as it does leave my skin feeling really clean and soft and also doesn't cause my skin to freak out. Also you don't need to use a lot of the cleansing butter to get a good coverage all over your face and neck, so for £12 I think it's a good price as it would definitely last a while.
