My Lush skincare routine - Cupcake.

Hi everyone, I hope you all had a lovely weekend! Today I am going to continue with my Lush skincare routine with a review on Cupcake which is one of their fresh face masks. I'm not going to lie I am really loving this face mask and I can't wait to use it each week!

Step two face mask - Cupcake:

This face mask is possibly one of my favourite face masks ever! It has loads of natural ingredients in it including Rhassoul mud, Cocoa powder and Linseed which helps to cleanse, soften, remove excess oil and nourish the face. I got this face mask as I have quite oily skin and suffer with breakouts and I really wanted a nice mask to help with that.

Now the first thing about this face mask that I love is the smell, it is honestly one of the best smelling face masks that I have ever used! It smells like chocolate with a hint of mint and it smells like you just want to dip your finger in and eat it (But please don't so this, as you really don't want to be eating mud!).

You have to store this face mask in the fridge so the natural ingredients don't go off, but I really like this fact as I usually apply a face mask after a nice warm bath, so I love the slight cooling effect it has on my skin after.

To use I apply it to a freshly washed, dry face and leave it on for 15 minutes whilst I go and relax for a while, I then go and wash it of in some warm water. Another great thing about this face mask is when you wash it off it also exfoliates the skin slightly to help really remove any dirt and leave your skin feeling very clean.

I use this face mask twice a week (on a Monday and Friday) and since using it I have noticed that my skin has become a lot clearer and less oily. Also just after apply I find that it helps to calm any of those really red blemishes down.

Another great thing about this mask is that even though it helps to mattify the skin and clear away blemishes it doesn't dry out the skin at all! I find that after using it my skin is really soft and smells wonderful!

This face mask costs £6.25 and you get 75g worth of product. The tub does seem quite small when you get it but I have used it 5 times now and I still have over half a tub left so I think I'll at least get another 8 uses out of it. You can buy this face mask here:

Have you tried any of the Lush face masks?
