Lush cosmetics - Unicorn Horn.

Hi everyone, today I thought I would add an extra blog post this week on Lush cosmetics Unicorn horn which was released as part of their Valentines day collection. I mean just look it at, how could you go into Lush and not at least sniff it, it looks amazing and it certainly roped me in!

When you first pick this bubble bar up it has a strong smell of lavender to it, which I know isn't to everyone's taste but I love it as it really helps to relax and calm down. So because of this I would definitely recommend this product to be used in the nighttime before bed, to help you drift off into a wonderful sleep.

However when I started crumbling the bar into the bath the lavender smell was not as strong and I ended up crumbling more into the bath than I usually would to help try and bring out the smell more. As usual it left loads of long lasting bubbles in my bath and it turned the water into this lovely musky pink/purple colour.

I used just over half of this bubble bar for my bath, and I think I would be able to split the reaming bit into two, so I would get three baths out of it which is great! It also left my skin feeling really soft once I got out.

(Of course I couldn't do this post without a unicorn selfie!)

This bubble bar costs £3.25 and I will definitely be going back to purchase some more before they run out! You can buy one here:

What do you think of the Lush Valentines day collection?

  1. I loved this one, at first I didn't really like the scent but it smelled really great once it was in the bath!

    1. It's great isn't it! I preferred the smell before adding it to the bath though, but that's because I really like strong lavender scents :)

  2. See I wasn't a massive fan the colour went brown and I couldn't really smell it

    1. That's not good that yours went brown, though I was also a little disappointed the smell wasn't that strong unless you added loads of it.
