Hi everyone, I hope you are all enjoying the sunshine we have been getting in the UK recently! As Spring is officially here and the weather is getting nicer I am starting to transition my lipsticks from berry coloured to more brighter and nude colours, and I think I have now found the perfect nude for me. I saw this Nars Audacious lipstick whilst browsing around Space NK and fell in love, so after trialing it a few times here is what I think.
First of all I love the packaging of this lipstick. It comes in this sleek metal square case that really sticks out from my other lipsticks, and also it feels really sturdy for travelling but light to touch and carry. Plus it has this really satisfying magnetic closure which has been know to distract me for a while!
This lipstick has a really creamy texture and is super easy to apply. In fact you only need one coat for full opaque colour, but I still like to apply two to help it last longer. As it does have a creamy texture there is some slight transfer when you eat and drink, but it's nothing too serious.
Once applied this lipstick has a satin finish and lasts for about 5 hours! I absolutely love this shade which is called Anita, and it is a perfect rose colour which is great for every day use.
Overall I am really impressed with this lipstick and as a treat I definitely think it is worth the £24. Also there are so many shades in this collection it will be easy to find your perfect one, and I'll definitely be picking up another colour soon. You can purchase it here:
