November Birchbox review.

Hey everyone, today I am going to review this months Birchbox I received which had a cosy at home theme. I am not going to lie this box was a good'n as it came with two full sized products and I was so excited to try them out!

I received:
  • Beauty Protector - Protect and treat hair mask.
  • Dr. Jart + - V7 Turnover booster.
  • Weleda - Sea Buckthorn body oil.
  • Jane Iredale - PureLash extender and conditioner.
  • OPI - A grape affair!
  • Drinkwel - vitamins.

Beauty Protector - Protect and treat hair mask:

When I saw this product I really couldn't wait to try it out as I am a massive fan of the Beauty Protector hair oil and I wanted to see if this lived up to it, and I was not disappointed!  This hair mask made my hair so soft and shiny after using it and it also made my hair smell amazing four hours after!

To use you simply apply to the ends of your hair after shampooing for about 5 - 20 minutes (depending on how dry your hair is) and then you simply rinse it off. I had to use about half a tub as I have quite long hair, but if you have shorter hair these two small tubs could last for about 6 uses.

A full sized version of this product would cost you £16 and I'm definitely going to repurchase as it left my hair smelling amazing and looking good!

Dr Jart + - V7 Turnover booster (full size!):

This product is a lightweight serum which contains several different vitamins to help moisturise, add radiance and in general improve your skins health. I was a bit unsure of this product at first as I have quite oily skin and I didn't know how it would react to this serum but so far it seems okay.

I have definitely noticed that my skin is softer and more radiant since using, but I think I'm going to continue using it for a few more weeks to see if it really does enhance my skin and I will get back to you then!

This product costs £32.

Weleda - Sea Buckthorn Body oil:

This body oil contains pro-vitamins which help to revitalize the skin and add moisture. I like to use this in the morning as it has a really orangey/citrus scent to it which helps to wake me up in the morning and put me in a good mood.

Since using it has made my skin look healthy and really soft, however I have had a few problems with it. Because it's an oil I find it really hard to tip out and get the right amount of product so I usually end up with too much and also it can leave my legs feeling slightly greasy for a while after use.

A full sized product would cost £15.95 and I don't think I would repurchase this as I much prefer a body lotion instead.

Jane Iredale - PureLash:

I was really excited when I received this as I have always wanted to try a lash extender but have never wanted to pay for one just in case it didn't work. This PureLash extender acts as a primer for mascara and helps to lengthen and strengthen your lashes.

To use you apply one coat to your eyelashes and then before it dries apply a coat of mascara, simple! I am really in love with this product as after using it my lashes look twice as long and it doesn't clump my lashed together either so they look really natural!

A full sized product will cost £15 and I am definitely going to repurchase!

OPI - It's a grape affair (full sized!):

This nail varnish is from OPI's collaboration with Coca-cola and is a gorgeous dark purple colour which I was happy to receive as I don't have any dark purples in my current collection.

Application was really simple and streak free, and I used two coats for the finished look. The drying time of this nail varnish was around 10 minutes so that's not too bad and it lasted me around 3-4 days before chipping!

This product costs £11.95

Drinkwel - vitamin tablets:

Now the only downside for me about this box was the lifestyle extra of these vitamin tablets as they are designed to help you recover after a night drinking, and I don't drink! I like the idea of these tablets and they could be a life saver for other people who have had a bit too much, but for now I have given them to my boyfriend and I will keep you updated if they work.

I loved this months Birchbox and I would definitely recommend signing up to them (especially since I have seen a sneak peak of December box which looks amazing!)
