For the last few years I have only ever used The Body Shop Tea Tree Pore Minismiser, and even though I still love this primer I thought I would give something new a try when I was last browsing through their shop, so I picked up the InstaBlur primer which I had heard a lot of good reviews on!
This primer claims to control shine, reduce the appearance of pore and blemishes, unify the complexion and extend the wear of your makeup. These are some pretty amazing claims, and after using this for 2 months I can honestly say this primer does all of these!
This is a silicon based primer but I find that it doesn't feel as heavy and sticky as some others that I have tried. When I apply it it sinks into the skin quickly and does leave my face looking more unified in appearance! I also love that this primer doesn't dry my skin out at all, and I think that's due to the fact it contains marula oil.
I don't find this primer to accentuate any of my dry patches and it does help to control oil production throughout the day. When I use this my foundation applies beautifully and I have found that it lasts longer too! Also it hasn't caused me to break out at all!
